Junior Development Program
A key benefit of playing junior cricket for Easts is access to free professional training for players in the U10- U12 age groups.
The Easts Junior Development Academy provides weekly group training sessions EACH WEDNESDAY AT WAVERLEY OVAL FROM 4.30-6PM for the duration of the season.
The sessions will involve a variety of skill development including- batting, bowling, fielding and centre wicket / game scenarios.
For the season 2020 /2021 we are delighted to announce that DAVID DAWSON FROM PRO PERFORMANCE will run the Easts Junior Development Academy
Many of you would know Dave as a prominent coach in the district. Dave is a former First Class batsman / wicket-keeper (NSW & Tasmania).
Easts Cricket Academy
In prior years Easts has run an Academy program for talented cricketers, with the aim of developing the next generation of Green Shield players and to provide a pathway beyond junior cricket. With the current impact of COVID, we are still in the process of reviewing how we can offer an Academy program for the upcoming 2020/2021 season and will provide further details when we are able.
