Yazdani claims Player of the Year


A stellar season that saw him claim 51 wickets at an average of 16 has seen Tas Yazdani awarded the Player of the Year Trophy at the club's senior presentation night. The opening paceman also contributed 194 runs at 17.6 including a highest score of 70 against Manly.

Yazdani also took out the club's bowling award and the First Grade Player of the Year medal.

Chris Hulston, playing in his first season with the club finished runner up in the Player of the Year award.

The night hosted by President Jim Maxwell was well attended with over 75 enjoying the facilities of the Harbourview Terrace Room at Easts Leagues Club.
