Ezekiel breaks 2nd Grade batting record

17-Jan-2020 Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club would like to congratulate club stalwart Adam Ezekiel on receiving official recognition for his stellar 2018/19 season in 2nd Grade.

Ezekiel set the competition record for the highest average in a season ever, 114.80, which has now been officially confirmed on the NSW Premier Cricket website.

Over the 2018/19 summer, Adam had 7 innings for 2nd Grade, making 3 scores of 100 plus with two not outs. His highest score over the course of the season was a stellar 141 against Blacktown.

Adam beat the record set in 2006 by Brad Rasool from Gordon District Cricket Club, which had previously stood for more than 100 years.

Everyone at the Dolphins would like to congratulate Adam on this stellar achievement.
