As part of Easts' commitment to providing positive high performance structures and pathways for the Junior Club, the club has recently appointed Lee Kirk as it Green Shield Coach and Brendan Lyon as the Junior High Performance Coach.

Lee and Brendan will also work close in hand with the Senior Club’s Head Coach Murray Creed. Lee, Brendan and Murray are very focussed on all facets of High Performance at all levels at the Junior Club and importantly in the pathway and integration of junior cricketers to senior grades.

“I am very much looking forward to coaching the club's Green Shield Squad this season” Lee said.   “I cant wait. The club views the Green Shield and its Academy structures very highly as we seek to provide the best pathways to young cricketers. Whether they go on to senior grade cricket or higher, it’s always exciting to see the development of young cricketers”.
Brendan has cricket royalty in his blood. He is extremely passionate about the game and has a very good eye for developing young cricketers. Brendan is an ex First Grade cricketer in both Perth and Sydney. He holds Cricket Australia High Performance Coach Accreditation (Level 2) and also runs his own very successful cricket coaching business.

“I am delighted to be involved. Easts has a fantastic Junior Cricket Club and the opportunity to work with a varied age group of junior cricketers of all ages is great. It is a fantastic program and let’s hope that we will produce New South Wales and Australian cricketers in the future” Brendan said.
Murray Creed has been appointed as Head Coach of the Senior Club for the 2016-17 season. Murray has a large portfolio of coaching experience and success. He holds Cricket Australia High Performance Coach Accreditation (Level 3). Murray was also a contracted New South Wales cricketer after playing First Class cricket in South Africa.
