ESCC is pleased to announce the dates for our 2023/24 A.W. Green Shield Squad trials.
The trials will take place at the Norm O’Neill Indoor Cricket Training Centre in Penshurst on Sunday, April 16th & Saturday, April 22nd from 2-5 pm. These dates are during the school holidays.
We request that all boys involved in the trial please arrive promptly at 1:45 pm so we can begin the session on time, the sessions will go through until 5:15 pm with the final additional 15 minutes being used as a cooling down & stretching period.
All completed nominations will be individually considered and those players who the club would like to invite to attend the trials will then be sent an invitation to participate in the trials. Not all players will be invited to the trial. This is a reflection of the likely number of applicants and the quality of the applicants and our inability to accommodate all applicants. Only those players formally invited to trial by the club will be able to trial and the club apologises in advance to those players who do not receive an invitation to trial.
Players are permitted to bring their own 156-gram 4-piece ball for their use at the trials (if invited to attend). The club reserves the right to inspect the ball prior to it being used at the trials.
